Valid Business Purpose (VBP)
One of three tests NIL Go uses to evaluate a deal. Basically: is there a real commercial reason behind this payment? If a local car dealership pays an athlete to appear in ads, that's a valid business purpose. If a wealthy booster pays an athlete $50K for a single Instagram post nobody sees - that looks more like disguised pay-for-play than legitimate marketing.
